Free English lessons is the way to go nowadays especially with a site like YouTube. Just do a simple search and you will find dozens of great teachers who will help you to learn as much as possible.
The important thing to remember is to interact as much as possible on the YouTube channel. If you are shy about asking questions to the author of the channel, then you can make comments to other learners who were also struggling to pick up the English language. By doing that, your brain is much more likely to remember all the things that you did in English.
I know it might be difficult, but try to watch videos about topics that you enjoy that are made for native speakers. You will encounter a lot of slang and fast speech but there is a handy button on any channel that you can use to help you learn a lot of vocabulary words. It’s called the transcript button located under every video.
All you need to do is click that button, copy the words and paste it into Google translate for you to see it in your own language. Read it a couple of times in your own language and then watch the video again and you will see how much that you will learn.
When you are learning topics that you enjoy, then you are going to stick with it and learn as much as possible. My site here at English – quickly.com is designed to give you fast videos about popular topics so that you remain interested and learn a lot more. Take a look at a couple of videos below to see what I mean:
You will also want to search Google for many other free English lessons. Most websites that pop up will be text-based and they are great for learning grammar, vocabulary, sentence structures and many other things that are great to see.
The key is to practice at least 10 to 15 minutes each day. For most people, the best thing to do is to bookmark your cell phone or tablet with a couple of your favorite English speaking websites and watch them when you have a few minutes here and there. You really have to make the learning fit in with your life so that you do it on a regular basis. Most people will do it a lot for a week or two and then forget about it. It’s better to just do a little bit each day and you will see fast improvements.
I’ve designed my blog to give you quick video lessons that you can watch on the go so that it fits in with your lifestyle.
Before you go, make sure you sign up for my free newsletter because I will tell you when I create new, free English lessons.
