I think we use this word because everyone says "practice make a man perfect". So it's fact also.
I am also doing online web designing with this http://web-design-ru.com company, and I countinue my practice as well.

study or practice
by: David

Hi Hyun-Jin,

You can use either study or practice. They do have slightly different meanings. When you practice, then you will be speaking, writing and using English for real-world things like a job or school.

If you study English, it implies that you are studying for a test or doing something for school.

I hope that helps you out!

Take care,

David
